What do I wear?

We want everyone to be comfortable and have fun dancing in the country. So men may want to wear a suit or slacks and a jacket. The wedding party will be wearing ties, and we expect there will a mix of men with tie and me with no ties. Ladies, remember to bring a sweater or wrap, if your dress doesn’t have sleeves – it may be chilly in the evening. Everyone should wear their dancing shoes! The weather forecast is 30% chance of rain. Our fingers are crossed that it won’t rain. If it does rain we will be under a tent, but you’ll want an umbrella, rain jacket, and shoes that can get wet.

The Date: September 12, 2009 at Quailheath in Tyringham, Massachusetts. Of course, you’ve never heard of it; it’s a little town of 300 residents next to Lee, Mass. The site is 30 acres of forest, water and woods on a dirt road. Kid friendly and camping is available on site.

Henry and Sarah Richardson, the host and one of David (and now Natalie’s) best friends, are busy getting the property together in a way that is ready for a wedding and satisfies the Massachusetts Wetlands Commission. I asked her under one of the many trees where we kissed on our first date. This glorious event occurred at Greenwich Street and West 11th.

THE COPS AS WITNESS
While I was asking and fumbling through my speech a cop started yelling at me to move a car that wasn’t mine. When I told The Sixth Precinct’s finest what they were interrupting they jumped out the car and started taking photos. Officer Isreal Torres was just as giddy as Natalie.
